Bubble styles enclose each letter in a circle or square. They stand out strongly in a list and are among the more playful options here.

Where these characters come from

These come from the Enclosed Alphanumerics blocks, originally added for numbered lists and diagram callouts in East Asian typesetting rather than for decoration.

Worth knowing before you use them

Enclosed characters are wider than ordinary letters, so a name that fits a field in plain text may overflow it here. The negative or filled variants also invert against dark backgrounds, so check both themes.

Where this family earns its place

Enclosed letters are effective for short labels and list markers, where their extra width is an advantage rather than a problem. They also work well as a single accent character. Be careful in fields with tight character limits — the visual space each tile occupies means a name that looked fine plain can overflow once enclosed.

Every style here, and how each one works

The method matters more than the name: it determines whether your letters are replaced, recased or merely marked, and that in turn decides how the result behaves when pasted into a field that validates its input.
