Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of UltraTextGen. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please stop using the site.

What this site is
UltraTextGen is a browser-based Unicode text styling tool and reference library. It converts text you type into Unicode characters that resemble styled letters, and publishes reference material about how those characters behave. It is free, requires no account, and runs in your browser.
The output is yours
We claim no ownership over anything you produce with the generator. The transformed text is yours to use for any purpose, personal or commercial, with no attribution required.
Unicode characters themselves are not ours to license — they are a public standard. What we license to you is use of this site.
What belongs to us
The site's design, code, articles and original artwork are ours and are protected by copyright. You may quote and link to our articles; you may not republish them wholesale or present them as your own.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site to impersonate a person or organisation, or to make text deliberately deceptive about its source;
- use styled characters to evade content moderation, spam filters, or platform safety systems;
- scrape or automate the site at a volume that degrades it for others;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or the servers behind it; or
- use the site in any way that breaks the law where you are.
What we do not promise
The site is provided as is. Character support varies between devices, operating systems and applications, and platforms change their rules without notice. Specifically, we do not guarantee that:
- Styled characters are not searchable and may be announced oddly by screen readers.
- Some platforms reject unusual characters in usernames and handles.
- Characters may render as empty boxes on devices lacking the relevant font.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, medical, financial, accessibility compliance advice. Our articles describe how characters and platforms behave, which is a technical matter, not a professional opinion about your situation. If you need advice about accessibility obligations or anything else with legal weight, consult someone qualified.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site — including a post being rejected, a username being refused, or text rendering incorrectly on someone else's device.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Changes
We may revise these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
