Privacy Policy
UltraTextGen operates UltraTextGen, a browser-based Unicode text styling tool and reference library. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have. The short version: the text you type into the generator never leaves your device, and we have no accounts, no logins and no payments.

The text you convert is never sent to us
Every transformation on this site runs locally in your browser using JavaScript. The words you type into the generator are not transmitted to a server, not logged, and not stored anywhere outside your own device. This is a property of how the tool is built, not a policy promise we could quietly change without rewriting the product.
Because of this, we cannot retrieve, review or delete anything you have converted — we never had it.
What we do collect
We collect far less than a typical site because there is nothing to sign up for. In practice there are three categories:
- Information you volunteer — if you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write. We keep that correspondence only as long as needed to deal with it.
- Standard server and network logs — your IP address, browser and device type, referring page and the time of the request. These are used to keep the site available and to investigate abuse or errors.
- Local storage on your own device — your theme preference and any styles you save are kept in your browser. They never reach us, and clearing your browser data removes them.
What we never collect
We do not ask for and do not want: passwords, payment details, government identifiers, precise location, or any special-category data. There is no field on this site that requests them. If you send such information to us by email unprompted, we will delete it.
Your rights under UK and EU GDPR
If you are in the UK or the EEA you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive it in a portable form. Where we rely on consent — which is the case for all non-essential cookies — you may withdraw it at any time without affecting what happened before.
Our lawful bases are narrow: consent for non-essential cookies, and legitimate interests for keeping the site secure and available. You can reach us at content@uplily.online. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority, and in the UK to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Your rights in California and other US states
We do not sell personal information for money. However, using advertising cookies may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and as "targeted advertising" under comparable laws in states such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and Texas.
You may opt out of that sharing by declining non-essential cookies in the consent banner. We honour Global Privacy Control signals: when your browser sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out for that browser without you needing to do anything else. Where our advertising partner supports restricted data processing for US state privacy laws, we enable it for users who have opted out.
California residents also have the right to know, delete, correct, and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. You can reach us at content@uplily.online.
Children
This site is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to content@uplily.online and we will delete it.
Retention and security
Email correspondence is kept only while it is needed. Server logs are kept for a short operational period and then discarded. Analytics data is retained according to the provider's configured retention window.
The site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but the amount of personal data involved here is deliberately small — the most sensitive thing you do on this site never leaves your browser.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the revised version.
