What to include
A style renders wrongly
This is the most useful report we get, and also the one most often sent without enough detail. Tell us the style name, the platform or app, the device and operating system, and — if you can — a screenshot. Empty boxes usually mean the reading device has no font covering that Unicode block, which is a display gap rather than a bug in the conversion. Letters that look subtly wrong within an otherwise correct style are different, and usually mean a gap in the underlying Unicode alphabet that we have substituted badly.
A platform rejected my text
Tell us the platform and which field refused it — display name, handle, bio or post. Handles are validated against a restricted character set on most services, so styled characters are usually refused there by design. If a bio or post field rejected the text, that is more interesting and we would like to know.
Something in an article is wrong
Send the page URL and the specific claim you think is inaccurate. We correct errors in place and change the article's updated date so the change is visible. We would rather be told bluntly than leave something wrong on the site.
Request a style or a symbol set
Tell us what you are trying to make and where you plan to paste it. Knowing the destination matters more than the style name, because it determines which Unicode blocks are actually safe to use there.
Copyright and DMCA
Almost everything here is either written by us or produced by our own code, and Unicode code points are a public standard rather than anyone's property. If you still believe something infringes your rights, the DMCA page sets out exactly what a notice needs to contain.
Things worth checking first
- Seeing empty boxes? That is a missing font on the reading device, not a broken copy. The text itself is intact — try a more widely supported style such as bold, italic or small caps.
- Text not showing up in search? That is expected. Styled characters are different code points from ordinary letters, so search engines do not match them. We explain why here.
- Nothing you type into the generator ever reaches us, so we cannot recover or look up anything you converted. See the privacy policy.
