Can you search for fancy text?
Usually not — and here is why.
Short answer
No. Styled text is built from different code points than ordinary letters, so a search for the plain word will not match it. Keep anything you want found in normal text.

The short answer
No. Search treats 𝕗𝕒𝕟𝕔𝕪 and fancy as unrelated strings, because they are built from different code points. A search for the plain word will not match the styled one.

What to do instead
Keep anything you want found — your real name, your topic, your brand — in ordinary letters, and use styling only for decoration around it.
Why this comes up
Almost everyone who asks has already tried it: they styled a bio or a post, then searched for their own name and found nothing. The failure is silent — no error, no warning, just no result — which is exactly why it is confusing. Nothing appears broken, so the natural assumption is that the search index is slow rather than that the text is fundamentally unmatched.
What people try first
The common first attempt is waiting, on the theory that indexing lags. The second is re-saving the profile. Neither helps, because the problem is not timing: the characters in the styled text are different code points from the ones being searched for, so no amount of re-indexing will make them match. Once you know that, the fix is obvious — put the searchable words back in ordinary letters.
