How Ultra Typewriter Document is produced
This style is a direct character map. Every letter you type is looked up in a table and replaced with a different Unicode character that resembles a styled version of it. Nothing is computed and nothing is added โ it is a one-for-one substitution, which is why the output length matches your input almost exactly.
Because the letters are genuinely different characters, the result is not searchable, screen readers may announce it a character at a time, and any field validating its input against ordinary letters will reject it. It will, however, survive being pasted anywhere that accepts plain text.

About this family
Each character is replaced by a block glyph โ U+2588 full block, U+2593 dark shade, U+2592 medium shade โ or by a geometric shape or a black or white square emoji. The shade blocks have an origin worth knowing: they were designed so text terminals that could draw only one colour could simulate grey levels, which is why they read as a field of dots rather than as a solid bar and why they look markedly different between fonts. The selective and alternating variants leave some characters untouched, producing a partly censored document rather than a fully blacked-out one.
Before you use it
This is not redaction in any security sense, and it fails in the opposite direction from what people assume. The original text is not hidden behind the blocks โ it is gone, discarded before the output was produced, so nobody can recover it, including you. The selective variants, meanwhile, genuinely do leak: whatever they leave visible is visible, and the number of blocks reveals the exact length of what was removed, which is frequently enough to guess a short word. Treat it as a visual device and never as a way of handling anything you would mind being read.
